Quality Manager 

• Quality Manager – Metal Forming (Stamping / Forging) • LOCATION: Kraków region, Poland (on-site / hybrid depending on plant setup) • LANGUAGES: English required; Polish is a strong plus • ROLE SUMMARY: • Hands-on Quality Manager with strong shopfloor presence • Drives quality performance in a metal forming environment (stamping, forging, related processes) • Assesses and improves processes, builds team capability, ensures stable delivery to customer/internal requirements • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead and develop the site Quality function with a shopfloor-driven approach • Own quality topics in metal forming production, including: • Metal forming operations • Stamping / press shop • Forging • Drive and coordinate quality-related projects • Define scope, timing, resources, and stakeholder alignment • Assess production and quality processes; identify gaps and implement sustainable improvements • Process capability, defect prevention, stability, discipline • Establish and maintain KPI transparency and daily/weekly control routines • Scrap, rework, PPM, internal/external claims, COPQ • Lead corrective actions to hit targets • Containment, root cause, prevention, effectiveness checks • Evaluate team skills and competencies; identify capability gaps • Create and execute training/coaching plans • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain • Improve robustness, standards adherence, and process discipline • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal standards • Support audits and customer visits as required • REQUIREMENTS: • Proven experience as Quality Manager / Senior Quality Engineer / Quality Lead in manufacturing • Strong exposure to metal forming; stamping and/or forging preferred • Solid project management track record (cross-functional, structured, delivery-focused) • Practical process assessment and optimization capability (hands-on problem solving) • Strong people assessment skills; can build competence and accountability • Hands-on mentality: visible on the shopfloor, decisive, action-oriented • Fluent English (spoken and written) • Polish is a major advantage for day-to-day operations and team leadership
