candidate will be responsible for driving supplier quality performance, managing supplier-related quality issues, leading APQP/PPAP activities, and ensuring compliance with automotive quality standards across the supply chain;
lead and develop the Supplier Quality Engineering team;
define team objectives and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including supplier complaints, 8D problem-solving effectiveness, APQP, and PPAP performance;
manage APQP and PPAP processes for both new launches and serial production projects.
coordinate supplier complaint management and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
lead escalation activities with critical suppliers and drive corrective actions;
monitor supplier performance and implement supplier development plans;
collaborate closely with Purchasing, Production, Logistics, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams;
ensure implementation and compliance with quality standards throughout the supplier network;
plan, conduct, and support supplier audits, including VDA 6.3 assessments;
act as the primary quality contact for assigned suppliers;
experience in Supplier Quality Management, preferably in a leadership role;
strong knowledge of automotive quality tools and methodologies, including:APQP,PPAP,8D,5 Why, Ishikawa, IS / IS NOT,Six Sigma;
good understanding of automotive quality standards such as IATF 16949 and VDA requirements;
ability to read and interpret technical drawings;
strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills;
excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
