Manage the development and the setting up in plant of the different assembly means (manual station, automatic);
The assembly engineer has to work in a project team with product engineer, quality engineer, purchase and manufacturing engineer;
Define with the manufacturing engineer the specifications for the request of the machines;
Assist the purchase department during the request phase;
Analyze with the suppliers the technical proposals and optimizations and prepare a technical synthesis for the choice of supplier;
Responsible of the technical follow up and validation of the means when the supplier is chosen (design follow up and validation, built follow up and validation);
Organize the setting up and final tuning in plant;
Check the technical folder and organizes the training of people in the plant;
Define the best practices and "lessons learned" at the end of project.
