Production Manager Injection Moulding 

The Opportunity Our client is an international manufacturing company seeking an experienced Production Manager Injection Moulding (m/f/d) to lead and further develop a high-volume plastics manufacturing operation in Slovakia. This role is primarily focused on leadership, organizational development, and operational stabilization rather than pure technical expertise. The successful candidate will be a strong people leader with a proven track record of building high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and successfully managing turnaround and transformation initiatives in demanding manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate combines extensive injection moulding experience with exceptional leadership skills and the ability to create structure, stability, and sustainable performance within a multicultural organization. Key Responsibilities • Assume full responsibility for the injection moulding production operation, covering machines ranging from 100 to 2,400 tons clamping force. • Lead, coach, and develop managers, supervisors, and production teams. • Build and maintain a high performing, engaged, and accountable organization. • Stabilize and continuously improve production processes, quality performance, production planning, and maintenance activities. • Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives throughout the organization. • Ensure achievement of productivity, quality, delivery, and safety targets. • Foster a positive and performance-oriented company culture within an international and multicultural environment. • Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Logistics, Maintenance, and Senior Management teams. • Support organizational change, restructuring, and operational transformation projects where required. • Establish sustainable processes, structures, and leadership standards across the production organization. Candidate Profile • Several years of leadership experience as a Production Manager, Plant Manager, or in a comparable senior manufacturing leadership position. • Extensive hands-on experience within plastics injection moulding manufacturing environments. • Strong understanding of injection moulding operations with machine capacities ranging from 100 to 2,400 tons. • Demonstrated success in turnaround situations, operational stabilization projects, restructuring initiatives, or performance improvement programs. • Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and employee development. • Experience leading multicultural and international teams. • Hands-on management style combined with strategic thinking and a strong operational overview. • Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, quality management, maintenance, and continuous improvement methodologies. • Automotive industry experience is considered a strong advantage. • Preference for a highly experienced senior manufacturing leader, ideally with extensive management experience and a mature leadership profile.
