Degree in engineering, quality management or comparable, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 5 years in automotive quality, ideally in a Tier-1 or Tier-2 metal / plastics production
environment
Sound working knowledge of IATF 16949; ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 knowledge required at
practitioner level
Qualified internal auditor (IATF 16949); VDA 6.3 process auditor qualification an advantage
Proven experience in implementing or restructuring a management system, not only in maintaining one
Confident with digital management-system tools; experience with Q.Wiki, SharePoint or comparable platforms an advantage
Hands-on, self-organized, able to work with plant staff on the shop floor as well as with group
functions
Plan and execute a complete internal audit cycle for the site (system, process and product audits), track corrective actions to closure with effectiveness verification, prepare and support the site management review, and carry out a readiness check together with Group QHSE ahead of the certification audit.
Roll out the group processes documented in IMS at the site: assign local process owners, adapt only where local law, customer requirements or plant-specific conditions genuinely require it, and produce the site-level records that prove the process is running. No duplication of group content – cross-reference instead. Local documents only where no group document covers the topic.
Ensure the site fulfils the requirements that must exist per site regardless of central group structures, in particular: management review, internal audit programme (system, process and product audits), risk and opportunity register, context and interested-parties analysis, contingency planning and business continuity, competence and training records, control plans and FMEA linkage, MSA and SPC, customerspecific requirements, and supplier management as far as it is executed locally.
Hazard identification and OH&S risk assessment, environmental aspects and impacts, register of legaland other requirements including compliance evaluation, emergency preparedness (emergency plan,emergency response cards, evacuation drills, restart verification), incident management and worker participation.
