Job description

  • Lead and develop a team of 4-5 quality engineers, ensuring effective prioritization, performance
  • Ensure compliance with customer-specific, regulatory, and automotive industry requirements.
  • Define and execute local quality objectives aligned with broader business goals.
  • Drive structured problem-solving activities related to customer complaints, internal quality issues, and audit findings.
  • Monitor quality performance indicators, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support internal, customer, and certification audits.
  • Manage customer quality-related communication and support high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to improve incoming material quality and supplier performance.
  • Support production teams in maintaining process and product quality standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and risk reduction.
  • Manage quality documentation, reporting, and compliance activities.
  • Monitor and optimize quality-related costs and resources.
  • Deliver quality awareness and training programs across the organization.
  • Act as the primary quality representative within the management team.
  • Proven experience in a quality leadership role within a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
  • Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, AIAG, VDA, and core quality tools.
  • Experience in audits, corrective actions, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • CQI certifications and automotive-specific quality training are advantageous.
