Job description
- Supporting the plant Logistics manager on various tasks
- Design, implement, and update logistics procedures on daily basis
- Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing shipments, select carriers, and negotiate cost-effective rates and contracts
- Manage the plant KPIs in SCM area such as inventory levels, stock days, turnover, safety stock
- Keeping warehouse storage layout according to guidelines
- Maintain stock records and reporting
- Direct the full order fulfillment cycle, optimize delivery routes, and reduce freight costs
- Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards on daily basis
- Resolve shipping delays, damaged goods or vendor complaints with the team
- Skilled in supply chain systems including ERP, Warehouse Management and Transportation
