Job description
- Responsibility for the smooth operations in the production
- Production management of the press shop, assembly in the plant and external premises
- Organizing and leading shift personnel via Production leaders (foremen, operators, material handlers)
- Ensuring the production plan is met in cooperation with the production planning department
- Monitoring workplace order, cleanliness, and safety
- Overseeing adherence to work procedures, as well as health, safety, and fire protection regulations
- Training of the new employees, leading role, training of operators performed by foremen
- Managing attendance and overtime records; making bonus recommendations
- Monitoring production progress and recording results in the system
- Cooperation with the quality department on product inspections, sampling, tests
- Communicating with other departments and supporting process improvements.
- 5 years of experience in a supervisory/manager role within a manufacturing company (automotive is an advantage)
- Organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of SAP (an advantage).
