Job description
- Lead, manage and continuously improve the company's Quality function and quality processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Manage and further develop the Integrated Management System (IMS) covering Quality, Environmental Management and Occupational Health & Safety.
- Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards, particularly ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Coordinate and support internal and customer audits, including implementation and follow-up of corrective actions.
- Lead and develop the Incoming and Final Inspection teams and their respective team leaders.
- Lead and develop the Testing and Metrology functions.
- Ensure effective quality control of manufacturing processes, raw materials and finished products.
- Manage non-conformities and customer complaints and ensure appropriate investigation and corrective actions.
- Monitor quality performance, prepare regular quality analyses and KPI reports, and present results to Executive Management.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and projects across manufacturing operations. Ensure compliance with company metrology requirements.
- Support compliance activities related to environmental protection, occupational health & safety and waste management.
- University degree in a technical field.
- Proven experience in a senior Quality Management / Quality Leadership position within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and experience with Integrated Management Systems.
- Experience with quality audits, corrective actions, quality control and continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in leading and developing teams and team leaders.
- Experience with testing, inspection and/or metrology is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of ERP systems; SAP is an advantage.
- Good understanding of environmental, occupational health & safety and waste-management requirements.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
- Goal-oriented, structured and conscientious approach with strong leadership and communication skills.
